Created at the end of the 19th century, this district is distinguished by its large villas surrounded by gardens, its pine-lined avenues, and its more peaceful atmosphere than the city center. It is also one of the most popular areas for its direct access to the beaches.
The Spring Town is particularly known for Pereire Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Arcachon. With its long stretch of sand, cycle paths and open view of Cap Ferret, it is an ideal place for walks, water sports or family days out.
