Electricity

NOS INSTALLATIONS

Optimizing our daily electricity consumption

Electricity, used for lighting, household appliances, and electronic equipment, is another major source of emissions. In France, where the energy mix is relatively decarbonized, emissions are around 57 grams of CO2 per kWh.

At Parador Vert, we have implemented several solutions to produce some of our electricity on site, prioritize renewable sources and limit unnecessary daily consumption.

Photovoltaic Solar Panels

Installation of 12 kW of photovoltaic solar panels to convert solar energy into electricity.

Supplier of Green and Local Electricity

Choosing a supplier that offers electricity produced from renewable and local sources.
This approach supports the local economy and reinforces the commitment to clean energy. It also ensures that even electricity not generated directly on-site comes from sustainable sources.

Low-Energy Household Appliances and Lighting

Use ofhousehold appliancesand energy-efficient lighting.
Energy-efficient appliances and lighting significantly reduce overall electricity consumption. This translates into lower CO2 emissions and reduced energy costs.

Eco-friendly actions in everyday life

Simple steps to save electricity

At Parador Vert, electricity management relies both on our facilities and on simple everyday actions. By adopting a few habits during your stay, you can help limit energy consumption and reduce the resort's environmental impact.

Using Household Appliances Effectively

  • Action: Use household appliances (such as dishwashers and washing machines) at full load.
  • Impact: This reduces the number of cycles required, thus saving energy and water.

Conscious Use of Lighting

  • Action: Turn off the lights in unoccupied rooms.
  • Impact: This helps reduce unnecessary electricity consumption.
